This study analyzes research trends on university human rights centers in Korea by examining 27 papers published between 2012 and 2025. The analysis focused on research methods, subjects, topics, and content. The results show that literature reviews were the most common method (20 papers, 74%), followed by mixed-methods research (4 papers, 14.8%). Most studies relied on document-based materials such as laws, regulations, and institutional reports(21 cases, 77.7%), while only a small number focused on center staff(4 cases, 14.8%).These findings suggest a relative lack of empirical, data-driven research and practitioner-centered discussions. Accordingly, this study contributes to the literature by highlighting the need for multifaceted follow-up research to support the sustainable operation of university human rights centers.
