This qualitative case study explored the experiences of group counseling participation among adults aged 20 years and older with a history of social withdrawal. Seven participants from a youth service institution in I City were interviewed in depth between September and November 2024. Data were analyzed using Stake¡¯s (1995) categorical aggregation and typological analysis. The analysis identified 47 meaning units, 14 categories, and 6 types. The findings suggest that group counseling provides a safe relational context that facilitates self-disclosure and acceptance, enhances self-understanding, and supports the recovery of interpersonal relationships. This study highlights the potential of group counseling as an effective approach for the psychological recovery and social re-engagement of socially withdrawn individuals and offers foundational insights for future program development and counseling interventions.
