초록
이 연구는 부모이혼을 경험한 성인기 자녀의 심리적 어려움과 대처 과정을 질적연구 를 통해 살펴봄으로써 이들에 대한 심리적 지원을 위한 자료로 활용하고자 한다. 이를 위해 8명의 참여자를 대상으로 심층면담을 실시하고 Strauss와 Corbin(1998)의 근거이론 방법으로 자료를 분석하였다. 인과적 조건으로 ‘충격적인 부모의 이혼’, 맥락적 조건으로 ‘부모의 일방적 결정’, ‘낮은 애착’, ‘새 가족과의 갈등’, ‘부모의 부재’가 확인되었다. 중심 현상은 다양한 심리적 고통이었다. 중재 요인은 지지그룹과 스트레스 대처력이었다. 일부 는 개인적·영적 성장을 경험하였으나 관계 위축 등 미해결 과제도 남아있었다. 마지막으 로 논의와 결론을 제시하였다.
This study explored the psychological difficulties and coping processes of adult children of divorced parents using grounded theory. In-depth interviews with eight participants were analyzed based on Strauss and Corbin(1998). A shocking parental divorce was identified as the causal condition, with unilateral parental decisions, low attachment, family conflict, and parental absence as contextual conditions. The central phenomenon was psychological distress. Support groups and coping capacity functioned as intervening conditions, while some participants experienced growth despite difficulties. Finally, the study presents the discussion and conclusion.
