초록
본 연구는 숙련 상담자의 역전이 활용 경험을 이해하고 그 본질과 의미를 밝히고자 수 행하였다. 이를 위해 경력 10년 이상의 숙련 상담자 6명을 대상으로 2023년 10월부터 2024년 4월까지 심층 면담한 자료를 Giorgi의 현상학적 연구방법으로 분석하였다. 그 결 과 58개의 구성된 의미와 17개의 하위주제, 4개의 상위주제가 도출되었다. 4개의 상위주 제는 ‘역전이에 걸림’, ‘역전이 관리를 위해 노력함’, ‘가벼워진 역전이’, ‘역전이 활용 경험 의 의미’이다. 본 연구는 숙련 상담자의 역전이 활용 경험에 대해 심층적으로 살펴봄으로 써 역전이 활용 경험의 본질과 의미를 제시한 것에 의의가 있으며, 역전이의 긍정적 활 용을 위한 상담자 교육 방법과 방향에 대한 기초 자료를 제공하였다.
This study aimed to explore experienced counselors’ utilization of countertransference and to clarify its essential nature and meaning. To achieve this, in-depth interviews were conducted with six experienced counselors between October 2023 and April 2024. The data were analyzed using Giorgi’s phenomenological research method. The analysis yielded 58 formulated meanings, 17 subthemes, and 4 overarching themes: “Being caught in countertransference,” “Striving to manage countertransference,” “Lightened countertransference,” and “The meaning of countertransference utilization.” The significance of this study lies in its in-depth examination of experienced counselors’ countertransference utilization, which offers insights into the essence and meaning of such experiences. Furthermore, the findings provide foundational resources for developing counselor training methods and directions aimed at fostering the constructive use of countertransference in counseling practice.
