This phenomenological qualitative study explores how corrective relational experiences in counseling influence clients and lead to changes in their lives. Interviews were conducted with seven counseling majors who had such experiences. Analysis revealed eight components and thirty-eight subcomponents. Four key themes emerged: authentic human-to-human encounters beyond roles, formation of a secure base enabling emotional regulation and autonomy, resolution of deep emotional wounds through relational change, and expanded relational transformation in daily life. A conceptual model illustrating the stages of change was proposed.
