초록
본 연구는 대학생의 내현적 자기애와 사람들에게서 멀어짐의 관계에서 자기비난과 경 험회피의 순차적 매개효과를 검증하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위해 대학생 391명 (남자 128명, 여자 263명)을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 주요 연구 결과는 다음 과 같다. 첫째, 내현적 자기애, 사람들에게서 멀어짐, 자기비난과 경험회피 간에는 모두 유의미한 정적 상관관계가 나타났다. 둘째, 내현적 자기애와 사람들에게서 멀어짐의 관계 에서 자기비난과 경험회피의 매개효과를 확인한 결과, 자기비난의 매개효과는 유의미하 였으나 경험회피의 매개효과는 유의미하지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 내현적 자기애와 사람들에게서 멀어짐의 관계에서 자기비난과 경험회피의 순차적 매개효과를 확인한 결 과, 순차적 매개효과는 유의미하지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 연구 결과를 바탕 으로 하여 본 연구의 의의와 제한점을 논의하고, 후속 연구를 위한 제언을 제시하였다.
The purpose of this study was to examine the sequential mediating effects of self-criticism and experiential avoidance in the relationship between covert narcissism and moving away from people. A survey was conducted with 391 university students (128 males, 263 females), and the main findings are as follows. First, covert narcissism, moving away from people, self-criticism, and experiential avoidance were all significantly and positively correlated. Second, in the relationship between covert narcissism and moving away from people, the mediating effect of self-criticism was significant, whereas that of experiential avoidance was not. Third, the sequential mediating effect of self-criticism and experiential avoidance was also not statistically significant. Based on these results, the implications and limitations of the study were discussed, and suggestions for future research were provided.
