초록
본 연구의 목적은 Morton 등(2024)이 개발한 신경지 기반 심리적 안전감 척도(NPSS) 를 한국어로 번안하고 예비 타당화하는 것이다. 252명의 국내 성인을 대상으로 수집한 자 료에 대해 탐색적 요인분석을 실시한 결과, 신경지 기반 심리적 안전감 척도는 원척도와 마찬가지로 3요인(공감적 수용, 신체감각, 사회적 연대감)이 지지되는 것으로 나타났으며, 양호한 신뢰도와 구성타당도를 나타냈다. 자기자비, 사회적 유대감, 삶의 만족도와는 정적 상관을, 특성불안 및 신체증상과는 부적 상관을 보여 타당성을 지지하였다. 본 연구는 국 내에서 신경지 기반 심리적 안전감을 측정할 수 있는 최초의 도구를 제시했다는 점에서 의의가 있으며, 후속 연구 방향도 함께 논의하였다.
This study aimed to translate and preliminarily validate the Korean version of the Neuroception of Psychological Safety Scale (NPSS) developed by Morton et al. (2024). Data collected from 252 Korean adults supported a three-factor structure—Empathic Acceptance, Bodily Sensation, and Social Engagement—and demonstrated good reliability and construct validity. The NPSS showed positive correlations with self-compassion, social connectedness, and life satisfaction, and negative correlations with trait anxiety and somatic symptoms. This study is significant in presenting the first Korean-adapted tool to assess neuroception-based psychological safety, and suggestions for future research are discussed.
