The purpose of this study is to identify counselors' perceptions and expectations of peer supervision in the counseling field. To achieve this, an online survey was conducted targeting counseling practitioners with a master's degree or higher and relevant qualifications. Consensual Qualitative Research-Modified (CQR-M) was implemented to analyze the 97 responses. The analysis categorized definitions of peer supervision into who, what, how, and what. Expectations for competence development were categorized into the counselor's professional development and personal growth. The expected roles of peers were companions and co-therapists. Expectations for relationships with peers were trust and support, horizontal relationships, solidarity, intimate relationships, and objective attitudes. This study structured key elements of peer supervision based on counselors¡¯ perceptions and expectations, providing a foundation for its effective design and use.
