초록
이 연구는 4년제 대학생의 진로정체감 지위를 Porfeli 등(2011)의 VISA 이론에 따라 군집분석하여 6개(성취, 탐색유예, 유예, 유실, 혼미, 미분화)으로 구분하고, 진로정체감 지위 간 성격강점, 생애목표, 진로장벽의 차이를 검증하였다. 전국 시/도 대학생 400명을 대상으로 실시한 설문자료에 대한 군집분석으로 진로정체감 지위별 형태 및 특징을 확인 하였다. 또한 다변량분산분석으로 성격강점, 생애목표, 진로장벽의 집단간 차이를 살펴보 았다. 연구 결과, 첫째, 대학생의 진로정체감 지위는 선행연구와 일관되게 6개 (성취, 탐 색유예, 유예, 유실, 미분화, 혼미)로 구분되었으나, 성취, 유실, 혼미, 미분화 지위의 프로 파일 형태는 기존 이론과 다소 차이가 나타났다. 둘째, 유실, 성취, 탐색유예 지위가 유 예, 혼미, 미분화보다 높은 수준의 자기지향/타인지향 성격강점을 보였다. 셋째, 탐색유예 가 모든 생애목표에서 높은 점수를 나타냈다. 넷째, 혼미의 진로장벽이 타 진로정체감 지위보다 유의미하게 높았다. 본문 말미에 제한점 및 후속연구에 대한 제안을 하였다.
This study classified the vocational identity statuses of 4-year college students into six clusters (achieved, searching moratorium, moratorium, foreclosed, undifferentiated, and diffused) based on Porfeli's (2011) theory and examined differences in personality strengths, life goals, and career barriers. Self-report data of 400 college students nationwide was used for cluster analysis to identify the form and characteristic of each vocational identity status. Also, a MANOVA on personality strengths, life goals, and career barriers were performed. First, results indicated that vocational identity statuses were classified into 6 like prior studies. However, some deviations regarding the profiles of achieved, foreclosed, diffused, and the undifferentiated were found. Second, foreclosed, achieved, and searching moratorium showed higher levels of both self and other-directed character strengths than the moratorium, diffused, and undifferentiated statuses. Third, searching moratorium scored highest in all life goals. Fourth, the career barrier of the diffused foreclosed were significantly higher than others. The study concludes with limitations and suggestions for future research.
