초록
본 연구는 아동학대행위자를 대상으로 상담을 진행하는 상담자들의 경험을 탐색하여 아동학대행위자 상담을 심층적으로 이해하는 데에 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 아동학대행 위자 상담 경력이 1년 이상인 아동보호전문기관 상담자 10명을 대상으로 심층 인터뷰를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료를 합의적 질적 연구 방법으로 분석한 결과, 4개의 영역과 8개의 범주, 34개의 하위범주가 도출되었다. 4개의 영역은 ‘아동학대행위자 상담의 특징’, ‘아동학 대행위자 상담에서의 경험’, ‘아동학대행위자 상담 시 상담자 역할’, ‘아동학대행위자 상담 의 발전방안’으로 구분되었다. 본 연구는 아동학대행위자 상담을 심층적으로 이해하고, 아 동학대행위자 상담에 입문하게 되는 상담자들에게 실제적인 정보를 제공하였다는 데에 의의가 있다. 본 연구가 향후 아동학대행위자 상담 발전을 위한 기초 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
The purpose of this study is to gain an in-depth understanding of the experiences of counselors who provide counseling to child abusers. To achieve this, in-depth interviews were conducted with 10 counselors from child protection agencies, each with at least one year of experience in counseling child abusers. The collected data were analyzed using the consensual qualitative research method, resulting in four major domains, eight categories, and 34 subcategories. The four identified domains are: (1) characteristics of child abuser counseling, (2) counselors’ experiences in counseling child abusers, (3) the role of counselors in child abuser counseling, and (4) strategies for improving child abuser counseling. This study helps provide an in-depth understanding of counselors' experiences in working with child abusers and practical insights for novice counselors entering this field. It also helps serve as foundational data for improving child abuser counseling in the future.
