The purpose of this study is to examine the structural relationships between family strength, social support, resilience, organizational commitment, and school life adjustment, which are key factors in the adaptation process of Air Force Academy cadets. Surveys from 342 cadets were collected, and the study employed observational variable analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, and structural equation modeling. The analysis of the research questions led to the proposal of an alternative model, excluding four rejected direct effect paths. The alternative model showed no significant difference in model fit compared to the original model and was considered more appropriate due to its simplicity. The results of the study are summarized as follows: First, the structural model among family strength, social support, resilience, organizational commitment, and school life adjustment in Air Force cadets showed good model fit. Second, family strength and social support had a direct positive effect on resilience. Third, resilience had a direct positive effect on both organizational commitment and school life adjustment. Fourth, organizational commitment had a direct positive effect on school life adjustment, and all examined paths were significant. Finally, the study discusses its implications and suggestions for future research.
