초록
본 연구는 중국 유학생들이 한국에서 겪는 문화적응 어려움이 학업만족도에 미치는 영향과 심리적 자원으로서 끈기가 그 관계에서 매개역할을 하는지를 분석하였다. 국내에 체류 중인 중국 유학생 450명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하고, 다중회귀분석과 매개효과분석을 수행한 결과 첫째, 문화적응 어려움은 학업만족도에 부정적인 영향을 미친 반면, 끈기는 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 끈기는 문화적응 어려움과 학교 및 전공만족도 간 관계에서 유의미한 매개효과를 나타내 유학생들이 어려움을 극복하고 학업적 성취를 이루는 데 중요한 심리적 자원임을 확인하였다. 이를 바탕으로 본 연구는 중국 유학생의 성공적인 학업적응과 만족도 향상을 위한 기초 자료를 제공하며, 멘토링 프로그램, 심리상담 및 사회적 지원 등 구체적인 적응 지원 방안을 제안한다.
This study analyzes the impact of acculturative difficulties experienced by Chinese international students in Korea on their academic satisfaction and examines the mediating role of perseverance in this relationship. A survey targeting 450 Chinese international students currently residing in Korea was conducted, followed by multiple regression and mediation effect analyses. The results showed that acculturative difficulties negatively affected academic satisfaction, while perseverance had a positive effect on academic satisfaction. Moreover, perseverance significantly mediated the relationship between acculturative difficulties and academic satisfaction, suggesting that perseverance serves as an important psychological resource for overcoming adaptation challenges. These findings provide foundational data for improving the academic adaptation and satisfaction of Chinese international students and suggest practical measures, including mentoring programs, counseling services, and social support, to facilitate their successful adjustment.
