초록
본 연구는 심리상담자의 역전이 관리능력과 심리적 소진의 관계에서 불확실성에 대한 인내력 부족의 매개효과를 검증하였다. 연구대상은 국내 심리상담자 239명이었고, 수집된 자료는 SPSS 26.0과 PROCESS Macro를 사용하여 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 첫째, 역전이 관리능력과 심리적 소진의 관계에서 불확실성에 대한 인내력 부족의 유의한 부분매개효과가 검증되었다. 둘째, 경력 3년을 기준으로 초심 심리상담자와 경력 심리상담자를 구분하여 살펴본 결과, 초심 상담자와 경력 상담자의 역전이 관리능력과 심리적 소진의 관계 에서 불확실성에 대한 인내력 부족의 하위요인인 억제성 IU의 부분매개효과가 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 심리상담자의 심리적 소진에 영향을 미치는 상담자 요인을 모색하고자 하였으며, 역전이 관리능력과 불확실성에 대한 인내력이 심리적 소진을 예방할 수 있는 보호요인으로 작용한다는 것을 확인하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다.
This study examined the mediating effect of intolerance of uncertainty on the relationship between counselors' countertransference management abilities and psychological burnout. The study sample comprised 239 domestic counselors, and the collected data were analyzed using SPSS 26.0 and PROCESS Macro. The results of the study are as follows: First, a significant partial mediating effect of intolerance of uncertainty was confirmed in the relationship between countertransference management abilities and psychological burnout. Second, when distinguishing novice counselors from experienced counselors based on a three-year career threshold, the partial mediating effect of inhibitory IU(a subfactor of intolerance of uncertainty) was significant in both groups. This study aimed to explore the factors affecting psychological burnout among counselors, and it is significant in confirming that countertransference management abilities and tolerance of uncertainty can act as protective factors in preventing psychological burnout.
