초록
본 연구의 목적은 중년여성 필라테스의 최신 연구 동향을 분석하고, 분석한 결과를 토대로 발전 방향을 제시하는 데에 있다. 이를 위해, 2004년부터 2022년까지 국내에 게재된 중년여성 필라테스 관련 석·박사 학위논문 25편과 학술지 논문 14편을 선정하여 총 39편을 분석하였다. 연도별 논문 현황, 연구자 배경, 학술지 유형, 필라테스 운동유형, 연구유형, 연구 목적을 분석한 주요 결과는 다 음과 같다. 중년여성 필라테스 연구는 2004년 석사논문 1편을 시작으로 2022년까지 꾸준히 게재되었고, 석사논문이 가장 많았다. 연구자 배경은 체육·스포츠·무용 관련 전공자가 대부분이었고, 학 술지 유형은 한국체육과학회지에 가장 많이 게재된 것으로 나타났다. 운동유형은 매트·소도구 필라테스가 가장 많이 사용되고 있었고, 연구유형은 대부분 양적 연구로 연구 목적은 생리·신체인 것 으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과를 토대로 향후 중년여성 필라테스 연구를 위한 발전 방향과 후속 연 구를 위한 제언을 제시하였다.
The aim of this study is to examine current research trends in Pilates for middle-aged women and propose future directions based on the findings. A total of 39 papers were reviewed, comprising 25 master’s theses and doctoral dissertations along with 14 academic journal articles published in Korea from 2004 to 2022. The main results of analyzing the status of papers by publication year, researcher background, journal types, Pilates exercise type, research methodologies, and research purpose are as follows. Research on Pilates for middle-aged women began with one master’s thesis in 2004 and has shown consistent growth until 2022, predominantly in the form of master's theses. The majority of researchers specialized in fields such as physical education, sports, and dance, with publications often appearing in the Journal of the Korean Society of Sports Science. Mat Pilates and small equipment Pilates emerged as the most frequently studied exercise types, predominantly using quantitative research methods to investigate physiological and body-related outcomes. Based on these findings, the study identifies future development directions for Pilates research among middle-aged women and offers recommendations for further investigation.
