초록
본 연구의 목적은 전문적 도움을 추구하는 장애아동 어머니의 심리적 경험과 의미를 현상학적 연구 방법으로 살펴보고자 한다. 본 연구를 위해, 5명의 장애아동 어머니에 대한 심층면담이 이루어졌다. 분석한 결과 의미단위 46개, 하위구성요소 16개, 구성요소 4개가 도출되었다. 연구 결과, 구성요소로는 전문적 도움 추구 전의 심리적 갈등, 전문적 도움 추구과정의 어려움과 스트레스, 전문적 도움 추구 과정의 갈등 해소와 안정감, 전문적 도움 추구의 효과성을 위한 바램으로 나타났다. 이 연구 결과를 통하여, 장애아동 어머니들이 경험하는 심리적 갈등을 해소하는데, ‘장애 정보 공유 일원화’, ‘정확한 진단 체계 시스템 구축’, ‘전문가 교육체계 구축’, ‘장애아동 어머니가 장애아동 전문가로 활동할 수 있는 기반 마련’하는 것이 도움이 될 것으로 사료된다.
The purpose of this study is to examine the psychological experiences of mothers of children with disabilities who seek professional help and the meaning of the experiences through a phenomenological research method. For this study, in-depth interviews with five mothers of children with disabilities were conducted. As a result of the analysis, 46 semantic units, 16 sub-components, and 4 components were derived. The study shows that the components are psychological conflict before seeking professional help, difficulties and stress in the process of seeking professional help, conflict resolution and stability in the process of seeking professional help, and wishes for the effectiveness of seeking professional help. The findings of the study suggest that in resolving the psychological conflicts experienced by mothers, the followings will be helpful: 'unification of disability information sharing', 'building an accurate diagnosis system', ‘establishing an education system of child disability experts’ and ‘laying the foundation for mothers of children with disabilities to work as specialists for children with disabilities’.
