In this study, parents' education group counseling was conducted for parents to find out the effect on self-concept clarity and the stress of living events. To this end, the Youth Counseling and Welfare Center located in K-si placed eight experimental groups and control groups for 16 people who applied for the experiment. The experimental group conducted four sessions of the program for 120 minutes once a week, and conducted a later test four weeks after the program was completed. The control group did not implement the program. SPSS 22.0 was used to analyze the data in this study, and for the comparison of two groups of experiments and controls, the analysis was performed through the Mann-Whitney Upt and Wilcoxen Matched Pairs Signed-Rank Test verification. The results of this study show that parental education group counseling has a significant effect on improving parents' self-concept clarity and reducing the stress of overliving events. These results are meaningful that parental education has a positive impact on the persistence of the effect when it is conducted as a collective counseling based on self-understanding rather than short-term effects.
