The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship among Lifelong Educator¡¯s Emotional Labor, Calling and Turnover Intention, and examine the mediating effect of Calling on the relationship between the Emotional Labor and Turnover Intention. For this purpose, the data, Lifelong Educator¡¯s Emotional Labor scale, Calling scale, and Turnover Intention scale, were collected from 225 Lifelong Educator and analyzed by correlation analysis and hierarchical regression analysis. The results of the study are as follows. First, there was a significant corelation between Emotional Labor and Calling and a Turnover Intention corelation between Turnover Intention and Emotional Labor and Turnover Intention and Calling as well. Second, Calling had a partial mediating effect on the relationship between Emotional Labor and Turnover Intention. In other words, the Lifelong Educator¡¯s Emotional Labor had a direct and significant effect on Turnover Intention, and also affected Turnover Intention through the mediation of Calling. This study emphasizes the importance of preventing Turnover Intention of Lifelong Educator and that Calling has acted as a mediator in the relationship between Lifelong Educator¡¯s Emotion Labor and Turnover Intention suggesting important implications for working and education and training of Lifelong Educators.
