This study was conducted to examine the structural relationship between youth activities, leisure satisfaction and self-esteem among 297 second-year middle school students in Seoul and Gyeonggi. The collected data were analyzed with SPSS 22.0 and AMOS 21.0 statistics programs for frequency analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, confirmation factor analysis, and structural equation model analysis. The results are following: First, youth activity has been identified as a positive factor for leisure satisfaction and self-esteem. It has been confirmed that many static and dynamic youth activities lead to higher level of leisure satisfaction and self-esteem. Second, leisure satisfaction is a factor that has a positive effect on self-esteem and it was confirmed that higher the leisure satisfaction level lead to higher self-esteem. As a result, it was proved that the structural relationships between youth activities, leisure satisfaction and self-esteem exist. Families, schools, communities, and governments have to pay attention and effort to support youth's diverse activities.
