초록
본 연구는 서울과 경기도 소재 중학교 2학년 297명을 대상으로 청소년활동과 여가만족, 자아존중감의 구조적 관계가 어떠한지 살펴보고자 수행되었다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 22.0과 AMOS 21.0 통계프로그램으로 빈도분석, 신뢰도분석, 상관관계분석, 확인적 요인분석, 구조방정식 모형분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 청소년활동은 여가만족과 자아존중감에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 요인으로 확인되어 정적·동적 청소년활동이 많을수록 여가만족과 자아존중감의 수준이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 여가만족은 자아존중감에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 요인으로 나타나 여가만족 수준이 높을수록 자아존중감이 높은 것으로 확인되었다. 연구를 통해 청소년활동, 여가만족, 자아존중감의 구조적 관계가 입증되었으므로 청소년의 다양한 활동을 지원하기 위한 가정, 학교, 지역사회, 정부 등의 관심과 노력이 필요하다.
This study was conducted to examine the structural relationship between youth activities, leisure satisfaction and self-esteem among 297 second-year middle school students in Seoul and Gyeonggi. The collected data were analyzed with SPSS 22.0 and AMOS 21.0 statistics programs for frequency analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, confirmation factor analysis, and structural equation model analysis. The results are following: First, youth activity has been identified as a positive factor for leisure satisfaction and self-esteem. It has been confirmed that many static and dynamic youth activities lead to higher level of leisure satisfaction and self-esteem. Second, leisure satisfaction is a factor that has a positive effect on self-esteem and it was confirmed that higher the leisure satisfaction level lead to higher self-esteem. As a result, it was proved that the structural relationships between youth activities, leisure satisfaction and self-esteem exist. Families, schools, communities, and governments have to pay attention and effort to support youth's diverse activities.
