This study is a case study on the independence of divorced marriage immigrant women. Five marriage immigrant women who became independent after divorce participated in the study. The data were constructed by conducting one-on-one in-depth interviews with the study participants. The researchers analyzed the participants' experiences by approaching the within-case between-case analysis method suggested by Bryman and Burgess(2002). As a result of data analysis, 25 individual themes were derived, and these were aggregated into 5 between-case themes. The themes between cases were found to be solidarity with the immigrant community, Strengthening Human Capital, psychological and emotional support of family members in the home country, building social trust, and maximizing self-efficacy through acts of helping. Based on the research results, we discussed the independence of marriage migrant women, and suggested educational programs for divorced marriage migrant women and support for the formation of independent social capital.
