<요 약>

본 연구는 어머니 양육스트레스와 자아존중감이 유아 문제행동에 미치는 종단적 영향력을 알아보기 위해 수행되었다. 이를 위해 자기회귀교차지연 모형(ARCL)을 사용하여 어머니 양육스트레스와 자아 존중감 및 유아 문제행동 간의 종단적 관계와 어머니 양육스트레스와 유아 문제행동의 관계에서 어머니 자아존중감의 매개효과를 검증하였다. 연구결과를 살펴보면 첫째, 이전 시점의 어머니 양육 스트레스와 자아존중감 및 유아 문제행동은 이후 시점의 어머니 양육스트레스와 자아존중감, 유아 문제행동을 각각 예측하였다. 둘째, 어머니 양육스트레스는 어머니 자아존중감에, 어머니 자아 존중감은 유아 문제행동에 각각 종단적 영향력을 가지고 있었다. 셋째, 어머니 양육스트레스와 유아 문제행동의 관계에서 어머니 자아존중감이 종단적으로 매개효과가 있음을 확인하였다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 유아 문제행동의 감소 및 예방을 위해 어머니 양육스트레스 감소와 어머니 자아 존중감 증진을 위한 부모교육 프로그램을 논의하였다.

<Abstract>

The purpose of this study was to examine the longitudinal influence of mother parenting stress and self-esteem on on early childhood problem behavior. This study verified the mediating effect of mother self-esteem in the longitudinal relationship between mother-rearing stress and self-esteem and infant problem behavior, and mother-rearing stress and infant problem behavior using the Autoregressive cross-lagged model(ARCL). The results of this study were as follows. First, mother parenting stress, self-esteem and early childhood problem behavior at the previous point predicted mother parenting stress, self-esteem and early childhood problem behavior at the later point. Second, mother parenting stress had a longitudinal influence on mother self-esteem. Also mother self-esteem had a longitudinal influence on early childhood problem behavior. Third, the longitudinal mediating effect of mother self-esteem was identified in the relationship between mother parenting stress and early childhood problem behavior. Based on these results, a parent education program was discussed for the prevention of early childhood problem behavior as well as longitudinal cause and effect relationship of major variables.
