<Abstract>
This study aims to provide basic data to help a happy university life by analyzing the moderating effect of emotional clarity in the relationship between interpersonal competence and interpersonal problems of university students. To this end, 610 subjects were randomly sampled and surveyed, and the data of 587 properly answered copies of the questionnaire excluding 23 inappropriate copies underwent descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and hierarchical regression analysis using SPSS statistics program. The main results are as follows. First, the three variables of university students' interpersonal competence, interpersonal problems, and emotional clarity were found to have a significant correlation. Second, emotional clarity was found to have a moderating effect in the relationship between interpersonal competence and interpersonal problems of university students. These results are expected to provide basic data on an effective intervention direction when counseling university students who complain of difficulties due to interpersonal problems.
