Influence of Grit, Emotional Intelligence, Teacher Efficacy on Guidance Strategies of Child Problem Behaviors with Chid care Teacher

<Abstract>
The goal of this study is investigate the relationship between the each variable a child care teachers' grit, a emotional intelligence, and a teacher efficacy and the guidance strategies for children¡¯s problem behavior with the child care teachers. The subjects of this study are 200 child care teachers. The scales are the grit scale, EQ episode test, self-efficacy scale, and teacher strategy questionnaire (TSQ). The collected data were analyzed by applying the multiple regression test. The main results of this study are as follows. First, there are a significant correlation about the relation of each variable as such child care teachers' grit, emotional intelligence, teacher efficacy, and children¡¯s problem behavior guidance strategies. Second, each variable as the child care teachers' grit, emotional intelligence, and teacher efficacy effect have the significant influence on children¡¯s problem behavior guidance strategies. As a whole, this study focused on the child care teachers' grit, emotional intelligence, teacher efficacy as internal variables of child care teachers who guide problem behaviors, and examined the importance, which showed that the grit, emotional intelligence, teacher efficacy of the child care teacher had an important relationship in problem behavior guidance strategies of children.
