<요 약>

본 연구의 목적은 아동기 자녀를 둔 부모의 전문적 도움 추구 회피 및 중단 경험은 어떠한지, 그 경험의 의미와 본질이 어떠한지를 현상학적 탐구 방법으로 살펴보고자 한다. 본 연구를 위해 2020년 5월1일부터 9월30일까지 목적 표집방법으로 연구 참여자 4명에 대한 심층면담이 이루어졌으며, 분석한 결과 의미단위 52개, 하위구성요소 16개, 구성요소 5개가 도출되었다. 연구 결과 전문적 도움추구 회피 요인으로는 전문적인 도움추구의 필요성에 대한 인식부족, 경제적인 이유, 사회적인 낙인에 대한 두려움, 환경적인 요인으로 나타났다. 전문적 도움추구 중단요인으로는 치료자의 역량 부족, 부모 스스로 해도 될 것 마음, 비용문제 및 치료효과가 없어 중단한 것으로 나타났다. 이는 상담현장에서 적절한 시기를 놓치거나 회피하여 전문가적 개입의 의미가 없는 단계가 되는 경우를 막고, 상담이 절실히 필요한 취약 대상을 돕는데 도움이 될 것으로 사료 된다.

<Abstract>

This study psychological problems is to examine the experiences of parents with childhood children to avoid and stop seeking professional help, and the meaning and nature of those experiences through phenomenological inquiry methods. For this study, from May 1st to September 30th, 2020, in-depth interviews were conducted with 4 study participants as the objective sampling method. Was derived. As a result of the study, the need for professional help was not recognized as a factor to avoid seeking professional help, and it was found to be economical reasons, fear of social stigma, and environmental factors. The factors that stopped seeking professional help were the therapist's lack of competence, the parents' mind to do it themselves, the cost problem, and the factors that stopped because there was no treatment effect. This is thought to be of help in helping vulnerable subjects who desperately need counseling, preventing the case where the appropriate time is missed or avoided at the counseling site, which makes the stage of no meaning of professional intervention.
