<Abstract>

This study psychological problems is to examine the experiences of parents with childhood children to avoid and stop seeking professional help, and the meaning and nature of those experiences through phenomenological inquiry methods. For this study, from May 1st to September 30th, 2020, in-depth interviews were conducted with 4 study participants as the objective sampling method. Was derived. As a result of the study, the need for professional help was not recognized as a factor to avoid seeking professional help, and it was found to be economical reasons, fear of social stigma, and environmental factors. The factors that stopped seeking professional help were the therapist's lack of competence, the parents' mind to do it themselves, the cost problem, and the factors that stopped because there was no treatment effect. This is thought to be of help in helping vulnerable subjects who desperately need counseling, preventing the case where the appropriate time is missed or avoided at the counseling site, which makes the stage of no meaning of professional intervention.
