<요 약>
본 연구는 어머니 양육효능감이 유아기질을 매개로 유아 행복감에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고자 하 였다. 본 연구의 목적은 선행연구를 통해 유아 행복감에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타난 어머니 양육 효능감을 독립변수, 어머니 양육효능감과 유아 행복감과의 관계에서 매개효과를 나타낸 유아 기질을 매개변수, 유아 행복감을 종속변수로 한 구조적 관계를 살펴보고자 하는 것이다. 본 연구의 대상은 K시 소재 어린이집 중에서 본 연구자가 사전 협조를 얻은 8개 기관에 재원중인 만 5세 유아와 어머 니 192명을 대상으로 하여 어머니 양육효능감, 유아 기질, 유아 행복감에 대한 자기보고식 설문을 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 신뢰도분석, 기술통계, 상관분석, 구조분석을 활용하여 분석하였다. 자료 분석을 통해 얻은 본 연구의 결과는 첫째, 어머니 양육효능감, 유아 기질과 유아 행복감 간에는 유 의한 정적 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 어머니 양육효능감과 유아 행복감 간의 관계에서 유 아 기질이 매개효과가 유의한 것으로 나타났다.

<Abstract>
The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of mother’s parenting efficacy on children’s happiness through children’s temperament. The established research problems to achieve the purpose of this study are as follows. First, what is the relationship between the mother’s parenting efficacy, children’s temperament, and happiness. Second, what is the mediating effects of children’s temperament on the relationships between mother’s parenting efficacy and children’s happiness. Research subjects are 192 young children and their parents, aged 5, attending a kindergarten in the K district. Data was collected and analyzed correlation, structural analysis. The results of this study are as thus: First, correlation analyses showed that mother’s parenting efficacy, children’s temperament, and happiness were significantly correlated with each other. Second, children’s temperament had mediating effects on the relationship between mother’s parenting efficacy and children’s happiness.
