뇌기능과 음악에 관한 국내 문헌고찰: 1994년-2020년까지

<요 약>
본 연구는 1994년부터 2020년까지 음악활동과 뇌기능이 관련되는 국내 학위논문 및 학술지를 분석 하여 프로그램 개발에 필요한 기초자료를 마련하는 것이 목적이다. 연구 방법은 대상 논문을 연도별 출판 수, 연구 대상자 연령, 연구 방법, 연구에서 사용한 음악활동, 평가도구 그리고 종속변인을 빈도로 분석하였다. 연구 결과는 첫째, 1994년 이후 매년 1편 이상의 연구가 지속적으로 이루어졌다. 둘째, 연구대상자는 7세에서 74세까지의 대상자로 매우 폭넓게 나타났다. 셋째, 연구방법을 분석한 결과 13편의 실험 연구와 12편의 문헌연구로 나타났다. 넷째, 연구에 사용한 음악활동을 분석한 결과 음악감상이 가장 높은 빈도로 나타났다. 다섯째, 평가도구는 뇌 활성화 및 뇌파 검사를 수행한 연구가 18편으로 가장 빈번하게 나타났다. 여섯째, 종속변인을 분석한 결과 뇌의 인지와 정서 과정에 가장 영향력이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 음악활동이 뇌기능을 활성화시킨다는 연구 결과를 통해서 앞으로의 연구에서 병원에 입원한 환자 또는 장애를 가진 대상자의 뇌기능향상을 위한 프로그램 개발이 필요 하다고 볼 수 있다.

<Abstract>
The purpose of this study is to analyze domestic academic papers and journals related to music activities and brain functions from 1994 to 2020 and prepare basic data necessary for program development. The method of study analyzed the number of annual publications, age of study subjects, research methods, musical activities used in research, evaluation tools, and dependent variables. The results of the study were first, since 1994, more than one study has been continuously conducted each year. Second, the number of subjects studied was very wide, ranging from 7 to 74. Third, the analysis of the research methods revealed 13 experimental studies and 12 literary studies. Fourth, the analysis of music activities used in research showed that listening to music was the highest frequency. Fifth, the evaluation tools were most frequently shown with 18 studies that performed brain activation and brainwave testing. Sixth, an analysis of dependent variables showed that they were most influential in the brain's cognitive and emotional processes. Research shows that music activates brain function, and it is necessary to develop a program to improve brain function of patients hospitalized or disabled in future studies.
